Dave and Kate Luers have gladly nurtured and championed local artists, writers, performers and community-minded organizations by offering them a venue to showcase their talents and work.

The warm, rustic atmosphere of Café Bodega draws locals and tourists together to linger and socialize. Occasionally, musicians drop by and improvise on the vintage acoustic upright piano. Here is where the diverse talents that make North Idaho unique gather to share news, stories, or a good laugh after a long week.

Open mics, on the third Wednesday of every month, draw poets, storytellers, and musicians of every age from eight to eighty. Art show fundraisers, bluegrass nights, and private dinner parties are among the many types of events held in the past.
