The Building

The Foster's Crossing building is a local landmark and community touchstone. Built in the 1930's, the massive three-story building began its life as a railroad freight house. Later, it became the Kist Root Beer Bottling plant.

Generations of boots and shoes have burnished the wood floors to the soft glowing colors of autumn in the woods. Time stands still at Foster's Crossing and a whole day can easily be spent browsing, eating, socializing, listening to local lore, music, and poetry.
